Community Guidelines
Last updated: February 27, 2026
PullUp is built on accountability, competition, and camaraderie. We encourage trash talk, banter, and a little competitive fire — that's part of what makes this fun. But there's a line. These guidelines help everyone know where it is.
The Golden Rule: Trash talk is part of the game. Hate speech, harassment, and discrimination are not. If you wouldn't say it to someone's face in a gym, don't say it here.
What's Encouraged
PullUp thrives on energy and competition. We love when you:
- Talk your trash: Call out friends who skip workouts, brag about your streak, hype up your crew
- Hold each other accountable: Friendly pressure to show up and stay consistent
- Celebrate wins: Shout out PRs, milestones, and hard-earned progress
- Support your people: Encourage, motivate, and lift each other up
- Be yourself: PullUp isn't corporate. Keep it real, keep it fun
What's Not Tolerated
There's a difference between banter and being harmful. These behaviors will result in action:
❌ Hate Speech & Discrimination
No attacks based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic. This includes:
- Slurs or derogatory language
- Stereotyping or mocking protected groups
- Symbols, images, or gestures associated with hate groups
❌ Harassment & Bullying
Friendly competition is great. Sustained harassment is not. This includes:
- Repeatedly targeting someone after they've asked you to stop
- Sharing personal information without consent (doxxing)
- Coordinating group attacks on a user
- Making threats of violence or harm
❌ Sexual Harassment
PullUp is not a dating app. Keep it appropriate. This includes:
- Unwanted sexual comments, advances, or propositions
- Sharing sexually explicit content in video, chat, or profile
- Recording or screenshotting others without consent
❌ Disruptive Behavior
Don't ruin the experience for others. This includes:
- Spam, phishing, or unsolicited promotions
- Impersonating other users or brands
- Exploiting bugs to cheat leaderboards or gain unfair advantages
- Creating multiple accounts to manipulate rankings
❌ Illegal Activity
Don't use PullUp for anything illegal. This includes:
- Sharing pirated content or stolen credentials
- Promoting illegal drugs or substances
- Coordinating fraudulent activity
The Vibe Check
When in doubt, ask yourself:
- Is this playful or hurtful? Banter is reciprocal. If someone isn't laughing, dial it back.
- Would I say this face-to-face? If not, it probably doesn't belong here.
- Am I punching down? Friendly trash talk is between equals. Don't target someone who's vulnerable.
Reporting & Enforcement
If you see someone violating these guidelines, report them. We take reports seriously and review them promptly.
How to Report
- In-app: Use the report button on profiles or in rooms

Your Role in the Community
PullUp is what we make it. You're not just a user — you're part of the crew. Help us keep this space energizing, supportive, and real by:
- Calling out behavior that crosses the line
- Supporting people who are putting in the work
- Bringing the energy and accountability that makes PullUp what it is
